Racer Levels have been changed to Racer Classes.
The results of your races and battles are added up on your Racer Class Gauge until it reaches the level allowing you to move up a class.

As you progress to higher Racer Classes, your class is closely linked with your matching group that changes according to your wins and losses in Online Tag Versus Mode and Online Versus Mode, meaning that your skill and strengths are evaluated more accurately than in previous versions.

Aura

Your car is surrounded by an aura before races and battles when you reach Racer Class A3 and higher.

The aura color changes as you move up each level.

This version has various missions for each mode.

Completing a set number of missions gives you rewards such as Drivers Points and special aura shapes.

If you join Initial D.NET, you can even save the aura shapes you receive and switch between them whenever you want!

This is a new system that evaluates challenge plays in each mode independently from Racer Class.

Cross Marks are earned on the result screen according to race and battle results. A Cross Emblem is earned when a set number of Cross Marks are collected.

Collecting these Cross Emblems creates lavish decorations around your Racer Class or on your Initial D license. Show them off to your rivals and friends!
