There are three types of Tag battles. Operation Kanto is a story mode where you play against a CPU team. Online Tag Versus is a versus mode where you play against a team from another store.
In-Store Tag Versus is a versus mode where you play against a team from the same store.

Matching and Boost Division

The tag battle's matching group that you and your tag partner's strengths is decided from your past results in Tag Battle Mode, according to the group, and a opponent with near ability is chosen.

When you've been matched, you can view your opponents' information, find out their strengths and discuss boost division with your partner to decide on a strategy!
