| When you play using your Initial D license,
up to 3 cars can be saved on your license. |

In the garage where to select your car to
drive, select "Add car data", then, insert coins
to register new one to your garage.
When your License already has 3 cars registered: Select
"Scrap and add car" and choose the one to scrap.
Then, insert coins to register new car to your garage. |

|
Scrapped car data can NEVER
be retrieved. Be very careful when you use "Scrap
and add car". |

|
An Initial D license needs to be renewed
every 150 plays.
Insert your license and wait for "Renewing Initial
D License" screen. Add the coins as directed to carry
over your data to new license. |

When the renewal date approaches,
a screen display and printing on your license will
let you know. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
2 plays after issuance of new license and thereafter
every 3 plays, a customizing shop appears for the game-end.
Modify your cars with the points you earned.
* Points can be earned in all
game modes.

There are 3 types of
customizing shops: 1 for Mechanical and 2 for
body kit customization. |

Shop to modify the performance of the car. Step/Level-up
modification for "Engine, Drive train", "Suspension
& Wheels" and 3 other sites are available. Max
of 7 step/level-up modification available. |

Modification of "Muffler", "Wheels",
"Transmission", "Decals", "Mirrors"
and others are available here.
You can even use the decals from the original manga!

Spoiler", "Side Skirts/Fender", "Rear

Every 6 plays, a slot machine appears before
the game is over for you to get Character Parts. Push
the Start Button to stop the wheels to get new parts!
"My Character" can be customized with those
acquired parts. |

is printed on the License everytime you make a change
on it. Infinite parts combinations are available. Create
the character of one of your very own ! |
